Carl uses two fictional characters and his knowledge of Biblical scriptures, history, archaeology, military history, science, and human behavior to explore what it would have been like to have grown up during the Biblical Exodus while keeping the story of the Exodus as scripturally accurate as possible. Carl's scriptural references include the Scofield reference King James Bible and the Hebrew Chumash and Tanach to maintain the Biblical time line and accuracy.
