About the Author

With other 30 years of experience Jones has worked and still consults worldwide on recording studio, small room and church acoustics. Now associate Professor of Acousitcs at Columbia College, Chicago, he is the founding chairman of the Department of Audio Arts and Acoustics, as well as organizing advanced TEF workshops and other in-service technical training. He was awarded the Heyser Award for his contribution to education and acoustical analysis.
