Credibility is a very precious and valuable commodity. It is hard to amass and exceedingly easy to squander. Many people believe that the Black Church has lost all of its credibility. They believe the Black Church is operating out of a severe "credibility-deficit". However, In 2021, the Barna Research Group published a groundbreaking multidimensional report entitled, 'Trends in the Black Church'. This report reveals surprising and encouraging data which shows that the Black Church still possesses a modicum of credibility amongst Black people. While this credibility is being held onto tenuously, we must take bold and courageous risks if we're going to maintain and increase it.
