Overview

About the Author

Brandy Alexander was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. A single, parent of three, her goal is break generational curses and improve mental health. Brandy's parents separated when she was eight which left her broken. After experiencing mental abuse from her mom and abandonment from her dad, Brandy turned to a life of alcohol, drugs, and sexual relationships. This led her to poor decision making and a mother of two by the age of 17. She met what would become her husband at the age of 14 who abused her mentally, emotionally and physically until the age 26. Her life since has been a journey to overcome the trauma from all her obstacles. At 22, Brandy managed to get her GED, 28 get a divorce, and by 42 decided it was time to take back her life. Brandy is the founder of a non profit that assists at risk youth from becoming a statistic, an author, and a believer of God.
