About the Author

The author, Marcus Diggs, born July 19, 1965 in Richmond California, his mother a nurse and black panther, his father a Vietnam vet and jack of all trades. Diggs, a natural born leader with a charismatic personality fell victim to his vices and has been incarcerated since 1994 serving an unfair life sentence under California's infamous Three Strikes Law. Dropping out of school in 9th grade, Diggs, became self-educated during his incarceration.
