Monique Fofana is an entrepreneur from Queens, New York. She strongly believes that God is first and foremost in her life, which she hopes is a testament to His grace and mercy. Her passion for writing start-ed at a young age when she began to pen poetry as an outlet to express her feelings and personal life experiences. She inherited this passion from her biological father who also wrote a book to inspire others after being incarcerated and turning his life around.

Monique loves entertaining and decorating, which inspired her to start her own event planning business. She strongly believes we all have our own paths in life, and we should follow our dreams, no matter what anyone says. She attributes her ability to get along with people from all walks of life to living in different parts of the world as a military child. After raising her children, she went back to school to pursue her college degree. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with family and friends, writing in her journal, listening to music, enjoying nature, sitting by the ocean praying, and meditating.
