Reverencing the Laws of Life

Why do human persons have a right to life?

What does the Church teach about the morality of in vitro fertilization?

How can technologies like cloning, embryonic stem cells, fetal-tissue vaccines, and designer genetic screening be wrong if they help people?

What can Catholics do to fight the rapidly advancing normalization of euthanasia, eugenics, transhumanism, and other offenses to the dignity of human life?

With biological technology moving forward at a dizzying—some would say terrifying—rate, it is more important than ever to have a firm grasp on the principles that will safeguard human worth in this brave new world. 20 Answers: Bioethics tackles the topics where life, science, and morality meet, offering solid guidance that combines the wisdom of authentic Catholic anthropology with a shrewd understanding of the medical and political realities.

The 20 Answers Series from Catholic Answers offers hard facts, powerful arguments, and clear explanations of the most important topics facing the Church and the world--all in a compact, easy-to-read package. Check out dozens of other topics in the 20 Answers Series of booklets published by Catholic Answers Press.
