Dr. Chenee’ Gilbert has been an educator for twenty years. She is currently an Assistant Professor at an online university. Dr. Gilbert is a former elementary teacher for the Atlanta Public School System. She released her first children’s book, “Mama, Did You Mean to Leave So Soon,” in 2008- which shares helpful strategies she used to help her cope with the loss of her mother.
Dr. Gilbert is currently working on the second book of the Dear Grief series, in which LaTrell continues the emotional journey to find a balance of peace and happiness.
